MISSION

ARTSCCC (Arts Contra Costa County) is an arts organization whose top priority is a sustainable county-wide arts foundation. ARTSCCC manages projects, services, and supports policies for the creative community. ARTSCCC has received grants from the California Arts Council, Zellerbach Family Foundation, Dean & Margaret Lesher Foundation, East Bay Community Foundation, and California Humanities.

ARTSCCC seeks meaningful support for the creative sector to elevate, build, and prosper. The Arts are a vital, valuable, and creative resource that acknowledges the human condition, encourages critical thinking, and enhances the quality of life.

On February 6, 2024, the Board of Supervisors designated ARTSCCC, a fiscally-sponsored project of the nonprofit Independent Arts & Media, to serve as the county’s official local arts agency. ARTSCCC manages the ARTS CONTRA COSTA website thanks to funding from Contra Costa County.
