Submission Guidelines

• Location: All venues, organizations, artists, and public art must be located in Contra Costa County.
• Accessibility: We encourage you to include detailed, up-to-date accessibility information such as: ramps, elevators, clear paths in and around the venue, wide doors and hallways, large, high-contrast signage that is embossed or in Braille, accessible seating, designated accessible parking areas near an accessible entrance, wheelchair-accessible or family bathrooms.
• Duplications: Before submitting your organization or venue profile, please search the Directory to make sure your profile is not already listed. Duplicate listings will be deleted.
• Artist Directory: This is a listing of local artists who are 18 years of age or older and reside in Contra Costa County. Any artists fitting this criteria are invited to submit their profile for inclusion in this directory for FREE. If this is your first time submitting an artist profile it will require approval by our site administrator prior to releasing it to the public.
• Lead Time: Each submitted organization, venue and artist profile goes through a review process. Once accepted and approved, the profile will be posted.
• Review Process: ARTSCCC reserves the right to edit submissions for grammar, style, and accuracy. Listings and artist profiles should be in the third-person narrative. ARTSCCC reserves the right to exclude information, images, or graphical content that it determines, in its discretion, to be inappropriate for posting or use for any reason. Images that clearly display the faces of any individual under 18 years of age will not be published.

DOCUMENTS

• File format: PDF, DOC/DOCX only
• File size: under 8 MB

IMAGE MEDIA

• File format: PNG, JPEG/JPG and WebP only.
• File dimensions: 300 pixels or greater on the shortest side.
• File size: under 8 MB

Multiple images may be uploaded along with your listing including one Primary Image and up to five Gallery images. All primary images should accurately represent the listing. For example, venue listings should use an image of the venue exterior or interior; org listings should use their logo; and artist should use an image of their artwork.

PLEASE NOTE: By uploading an image to ARTSCCC, the user represents that the material does not infringe any proprietary or intellectual property rights of any third-party and that user has the authority to grant, and does hereby grant, to ARTSCCC a license to use, display, copy, and transfer the image for and in connection with the ARTSCCC site. Please see the full policy. 

AUDIO MEDIA

We accept audio “embed” code (iframe or javascript) from various services, including SoundCloud, Zing, CD Baby, and audio URLs with the “.mp3” file extension.

VIDEO MEDIA

Only shared media links from YouTube, Vimeo, and Brightcove are accepted. We do not accept any other video service links or embed code at this time.
