Secret Ocean

Tim Hancock created Secret Ocean as part of the Artify Orinda public art program. The work is a mural/illustration on a trash bin, by the Orinda Community Foundation. The piece depicts an underwater scene with a human figure and anthropomorphic sea creatures, including a fish, crab, and octopus playing a harp. Tim Hancock is a local freelance illustrator and art teacher who creates “Tradigital” art, combining traditional drawing with digital media. The piece is part of the Artify Orinda project that supports how public art can transform everyday municipal infrastructure into a source of artistic expression.
