Miguel Barajas

Growing up in the Bay Area Miguel was influenced by the music, local sports team and the street culture. From his family’s taste a cultural upbringing to the modern and ever evolving trends and cycles that are in our modern world. Miguel finds a combination of the past and future to create a contemporary visual journey for his viewers. By taking old pictures of the traditional art world and cutting and ripping them to create beautiful and innovative designs and textures to accompany his elegant paintings making it a two punch duo. We also see his influence by rendering the upcoming hip hop artists and sports figures that are sure to go on the charts to his elegant and more delicate landscapes and peaceful environments. Miguel also works to support local small shops with ads and murals to enrich his community and bring pride to his city.
