I grew up in Pennsylvania and from an early age loved drawing. I received my BFA at Syracuse University, majoring in printmaking. After graduating I worked at several printing companies before moving to the San Francisco Bay Area. Here I joined the Art Departments at Lawrence Livermore Laboratory and later Lawrence Berkeley Lab. At the two labs I enjoyed helping scientists visualize their ideas, experiments and accomplishments for slides, journals and posters.

After retiring I found time for painting the beautiful Bay Area landscapes and figurative compositions. I am a member of Alamo Danville Artists Society (ADAS) and my work is on display at the Blackhawk Gallery.
