I am a SF Bay Area, California-based artist who works mainly with watercolor, pen, and ink. Primarily self-taught, my inspiration comes from the objects and ideas I see and experience. I translate my ideas onto paper, painting and sketching impressions to give them a unique voice. My work is often described as whimsical and is characterized by my unique point of view. I also print notecards from of my artworks. In addition, I craft handmade soap, often sketching and painting between processes, leading to my favorite phrase: “I often create my art while waiting for soap to dry.”

I decided to devote more time to my creative side after a career of over 30 years in supply chain management, which included working as an instructor for APICS CPIM courses. I have exhibited in local events and shows, painted two utility boxes in Concord, and currently have a banner featured in the “Banner Up” 2026 exhibition in downtown Brentwood.

I’m a member of Concord Art Asssociation, Lamorinda Arts Alliance, Las Juntas-East Bay Artists Guild and Martinez Arts Association.
