I enjoy hanging out with the creative community of artists! I’ve explored black and white photography (back when you used a darkroom to develop your prints), ceramic arts including functional ware and sculpture, and I’m currently infatuated with watercolors.
Artist Statement
Please provide a brief description of your creative process, motivations, and inspirations:
Sketchbooks are my fun place to hangout; trying to capture whatever nature is offering up; or providing ‘scratch paper’ for practicing proportions, shading, colors and all the other things I’m learning. I’ve been working on a collection of florals and landscapes. Inspiration pops up all the time on my local walks and trips around our beautiful state. Art has proven to be a wonderful gateway to view my surroundings and expand my community of friends.
