I often combine abstract concept with naturalistic imagery to allow these two different genres to work together on a single canvas. I also blend in my work with the East brush work style that I learned from my early days’ training in China, before I studied visual art in Hong Kong. I moved to and worked in Europe before settling in California. My art has been exhibited in galleries around the Bay Area and California.

I often blend abstract and figurative elements in one single painting, allowing them to work together fluidly throughout the canvas. The naturally exposed pigments invite viewers to participate in this process and enjoy the freedom the work evokes.
