Sadiqeh Agah

I predominantly paint with watercolor and gouache. Recently, I have explored printmaking with rubber carvings and produced playing cards inspired by Persian miniatures and block printed textiles. My work is inspired by the delight and sometimes dread of memories. I once was a young art student but did not pursue art professionally until recently. During my healing journey after two miscarriages, I returned to creating art regularly, and have found myself in painting. I was raised on the east coast and have spent the last decade in the Bay Area. I am proud to be a resident of Richmond!
