Farm to Table

Alex Sodari created the Farm to Table mural at Mount Diablo High School in Concord, California. The artwork is an exterior mural on the Culinary building. The mural shows vegetables and medicinal herbs painted across the wall, with building elements painted to resemble a kitchen pantry. Window panels and a door are painted as part of a pantry cupboard with jars of dry foods, pickle jars, hanging herbs, measuring cups, eggs, and honey. Painted details also include a grocery list and magnets with the phrases “CON CORD” and “Comida es Medicina.” The mural was painted using Montana Black spray paint and Novacolor acrylic mural paint.
